Current Openings Plant Manager (Food Industry):
The successful candidate will be responsible for coordination of all bakery operations to assure production and distribution of consistent quality products, while ensuring compliance with government regulations in the areas of employee safety, food safety, environmental, and employment practices. You will be required to manage operations according to Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).
Additional responsibilities include: Maintain communication between sales and operations. Train and develop direct reports and second tier management to ensure continuity planning commitments. Ensure that all regulatory and legal requirements are in compliance. Ensure fulfillment of all union contractual obligations, company policies and procedures, and effective safety programs.
Education & Experience sought: BA/BS in Operation Management, Engineering or related field. Masters degree a plus. AIB Baking and Technology Correspondence Course with preference given to attendance at the Manhattan KS Residency Course. 10 to 15 years of commercial bakery management experience with at least 5 years at the Production Manager level. Preference for experience with pan bread and roll production. Exposure to Lean Manufacturing practices preferred
Quality Control Supervisor (Pharmaceutical):
The supervisor will oversee QC labs, communicate with internal/external contacts, track QC results and production tendencies and monitoring departmental cost. Additional functions include implementing GLP, GDP and cGMP practices; initiate investigations and test results and findings and continuously improve QC operations. Strong communication skills and the ability to interact with customers and employees are important. This position requires a BS degree in Chemistry or a science discipline or an equivalent combination of experience and education. Prior experience in the pharmaceutical or API industry is required.
